Programs for Educators provides a wide variety of services to professionals and parents who are dedicated to helping our children play, learn and grow.  We specialize in providing resources for those who work with Infants and Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age children.

From group trainings and workshops to individual mentoring and coaching, our work is grounded in the Massachusetts Frameworks and Standards and includes specialties such as children’s garden design, backyard summer camp and learning birthday parties.

Programs for Educators was founded in 1994 by Victoria Hackett, M. Ed.  Victoria has applied her extensive experience in a variety of teaching and leadership positions to the development of all our programs.

Victoria has worked with a wide range of organizations including schools, childcare resource centers and small companies and currently serves as adjunct facility member at Northshore Community College.  Victoria has also facilitated long distance courses for Child Care Circuit and served as board chair for Harborlight Nursery School in Beverly, MA.   She has been in the field of education for twenty-five years and holds a Masters in Education from Cambridge College.

Through her extensive experience as a consultant/trainer/mentor, and her background in teaching, she brings a sound knowledge of the issues which confront educators, parents, and corporate professionals to her seminars.  Because her approach is pragmatic, Victoria’s seminars blend theoretical information with hands on problem solving techniques. Victoria’s presentations are engaging, thoughtful and upbeat. Her seminars are punctuated with true-to-life anecdotes, valuable tips, and lively participation.

After years of working in the field of education, Victoria has been planting Children’s Garden’s and is the Founder/Director of the Cove Elementary School Children’s Garden in Beverly, MA.  These gardens are created to help parents, teachers and educators support children’s learning and development utilizing the garden as an outdoor classroom.

Victoria integrates the basic concepts of adult learning with up-to-date information on various topics. Whatever your training and development needs may be, Victoria is ready to work with you to provide training, facilitation and consultation in a variety of areas.

Pricing:
Pricing for our programs is negotiated on a per-case basis and depends on size, duration, travel and degree of tailoring requested.  Materials and expenses are billed separately.
